Bamboo water features. Bonsai-like trees and shrubs. For example:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.visitingvienna.com\/sights\/winter-palace\/silberkammer\/\">Silberkammer<\/a> in the Hofburg winter palace houses a large amount of Imari porcelain dating back to the 1700s<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.visitingvienna.com\/sights\/museums\/belvedere-sites\/alpine-gardens\/\">alpine gardens<\/a> adjoining Belvedere palace include some gorgeous examples of the art of Bonsai<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.visitingvienna.com\/sights\/museums\/khm\/weltmuseum\/\">Weltmuseum<\/a> has 15,000 items from Japan in its collection. The permanent exhibition includes a wonderful model of a Daimy\u014d residence<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.wien.gv.at\/umwelt\/parks\/anlagen\/setagayapark.html\">Setagaya Park<\/a> in the 19th district has a Japanese garden designed by Ken Nakajima and is notable for its tree blossom in spring<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>For more gardens with their own geographical or cultural theme, try <a href=\"https:\/\/www.visitingvienna.com\/sights\/hirschstetten\/\" data-type=\"post\" data-id=\"34465\">Hirschstetten.<\/a> These botanical gardens have sections dedicated to, for example, India, Mexico, and the Provence region of France.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">How to get to the Japanese garden<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Follow the instructions for reaching the main entrance to the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.visitingvienna.com\/sightseeing\/palace-of-schonbrunn\/vienna-zoo\/\">zoo<\/a> in the broader article on <a href=\"https:\/\/www.visitingvienna.com\/schonbrunn\/gettingthere\/\">finding Sch\u00f6nbrunn<\/a>.
