So far I know of, for example:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.visitingvienna.com\/sights\/museums\/albertina\/\" data-type=\"post\" data-id=\"2995\">Albertina&#8217;s<\/a> big winter exhibition builds a dialogue between works by Picasso and Bacon. Also catch a solo exhibition for Shara Hughes (from October 9th) and a broader look at women artists through history that draws on the Albertina&#8217;s own collections (from October 30th)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>It&#8217;s your last chance to see both the Albertina&#8217;s 250th anniversary exhibition that includes a rare appearance for D\u00fcrer&#8217;s famous <a href=\"https:\/\/www.visitingvienna.com\/sights\/museums\/durer-hare\/\" data-type=\"post\" data-id=\"7083\">Young Hare<\/a> watercolour (until October 11th) and their exhibition of travel photography from the late 1800s (until October 26th)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Enjoy the last days (until October 11th) of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.visitingvienna.com\/sights\/museums\/belvedere-sites\/upper-belvedere-palace\/\" data-type=\"post\" data-id=\"3521\">Upper Belvedere&#8217;s<\/a> in-depth look at two paintings by Johann Baptist Lampi the Elder and the Younger<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Two solo exhibitions continue at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.visitingvienna.com\/sights\/museums\/belvedere-sites\/lower-belvedere\/\" data-type=\"post\" data-id=\"3384\">Lower Belvedere<\/a>. One for a prominent name from the post-WWII avant garde landscape in Poland: Erna Rosenstein. Entry is free.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A visit also gets you a look at the rather gorgeous looking halls and staircases of the Rathaus (city hall).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Meanwhile, the <a href=\"https:\/\/animarket.animanga.at\/\">AniMarkt<\/a> market with a strong manga and anime theme has its autumn edition (2026 dates TBA but usually October 26th). design events.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The biggie is the <a href=\"https:\/\/modell-bau.at\/\">Modellbau Messe and Create Con<\/a> at the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.visitingvienna.com\/entertainment\/wien-messe-center\/\" data-type=\"post\" data-id=\"64697\">VIECON \/ Messe Wien<\/a> exhibition centre (next dates TBA) with some 40,000 visitors usual across its weekend.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This show and con covers all things to do with model making, creative design, and arts &amp; crafts with displays (for example of model train layouts), shows (such as remote-controlled airplanes and construction vehicles in action), an artists alley, dozens of booths, workshops, and more.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Other art and design events include:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.visitingvienna.com\/entertainment\/events\/vienna-design-week\/\">Vienna Design Week<\/a> (September 25th to October 4th) has numerous exhibitions and other events across the theme<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The lovely <a href=\"https:\/\/www.visitingvienna.com\/entertainment\/events\/edelstoff\/\" data-type=\"post\" data-id=\"44071\">Edelstoff<\/a> design market visits the Marx Halle for its autumn edition (October 3rd and 4th)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.visitingvienna.com\/entertainment\/events\/wamp\/\" data-type=\"post\" data-id=\"45381\">WAMP design market<\/a> also usually appears<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.fairforart-vienna.at\/\">FAIR FOR ART Vienna<\/a> is a fair for modern and contemporary art that takes placed in the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.visitingvienna.com\/sights\/museums\/kuenstlerhaus\/\" data-type=\"post\" data-id=\"73350\">K\u00fcnstlerhaus<\/a> (October 7th to 11th)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>After all that art and design, you might need to settle into an armchair, pour yourself a drink or make yourself a sandwich, and recharge your batteries.
