In 2026, the show is inside the MQ complex)

My only skill when it comes to fashion is the ability to spell the word correctly. So I can’t comment on trends, styles and quality. But I do know that anything associated with the MuseumsQuartier (MQ) tends to have its fingers firmly on the pulse of contemporary culture.

So you can expect the Vienna Fashion Week hosted there, organised by creative headz, to fulfill its promise.

For starters, a large number of designers present their work, with fashion shows across the week to intrigue and inspire with creations from home and abroad.

But it’s not just about the catwalk. A shopping area, for example, features current collections for you to browse and purchase.

2026 dates, tickets & tips

The 2026 edition runs from September 14th to 19th.

Shows normally take place daily in the afternoons and evenings. You can usually buy tickets on the door or in advance online through the Fashion Week website, where you also find full programme details and timings once they become available.

The shopping areas are typically free to visit for part of each day; other times require a ticket.

If you’re in town for fashion, then two further tips for you:

Have a look at the main shopping opportunities in Vienna: the centre has plenty of high-end stores, of course

Check current contemporary art exhibitions. Some may have a fashion or textile focus

How to get to the Vienna Fashion Week

Just follow the tips on how to get to the MuseumsQuartier complex at the bottom of the main MQ article.

In 2026, it all takes place in Halle E & G, which is straight ahead of you as you emerge from the main entranceway into the MQ. Go to the right-hand end of the Halle as you face it to find the entrance.

Address: Museumsplatz 1/5, 1070 Vienna

The MuseumsQuartier is home to all things contemporary, making it the perfect host for showcasing today’s fashion designers

[22

0":"post-18617","1":"post","2":"type-post","3":"status-publish","4":"format-standard","5":"has-post-thumbnail","7":"category-events","8":"entry
["GET
