The large four-star hotel sits right across the street from one end of the VIECON \/ Messe Wien and the U2 subway station Krieau. The innovation continues elsewhere with day packages available for the rooftop coworking space (so particularly attractive for digital nomads, for example).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Zoku is also one of the more promising options if you\u2019re looking to enjoy the company of others. Has its own underground parking spaces, too<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>One of the better options if travelling with kids. The huge Prater entertainment complex (see below) is very close and even influences some of the interior design. Close to the convention buildings but on the banks of the Danube (a surprisingly rare location for accommodation in Vienna). Nevertheless, the local area has a surprisingly large amount to offer visitors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>So no Habsburg palaces, but these three standout attractions&#8230;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">1. The Prater<\/h4>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"500\" height=\"375\" src=\"https:\/\/www.visitingvienna.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/04\/risenraddistance.jpg\" alt=\"Distant view of the giant ferris wheel\" class=\"wp-image-44848\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.visitingvienna.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/04\/risenraddistance.jpg 500w, https:\/\/www.visitingvienna.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/04\/risenraddistance-300x225.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 500px) 100vw, 500px\" \/><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center has-small-font-size\">(The giant Ferris wheel known from such films as <em>The Third Man<\/em>)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The VIECON \/ Messe Wien runs almost alongside a long stretch of recreational woodland, meadows and parks known as the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.visitingvienna.com\/entertainment\/prater\/\" data-type=\"post\" data-id=\"35726\">Prater<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>One end is a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.visitingvienna.com\/entertainment\/wurstelprater-amusement-park\/\" data-type=\"post\" data-id=\"35559\">leisure complex<\/a> that features a huge entertainment area and notable attractions like the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.visitingvienna.com\/sights\/riesenrad\/\" data-type=\"post\" data-id=\"271\">Riesenrad<\/a> Ferris wheel and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.visitingvienna.com\/entertainment\/madame-tussauds\/\" data-type=\"post\" data-id=\"35377\">Madame Tussauds<\/a>, not to mention dozens of rides and similar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This all includes several restaurants, though most only open during the warmer seasons: the Schweizerhaus, for example, is immensely popular with locals in summer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">2. Cross through the Prater to the southeast to reach it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">3.
