And Vienna is not short of a few clubs and bars where the Mojo Blues Band and genre colleagues ply their trade.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Vienna Blues Spring festival brings together local performers and overseas guests in a string-bending feast of riffs and 12-bar chord progressions. Regular performances take place at the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.reigen.at\/\">Der Reigen<\/a> venue: a bar, restaurant and venue with a long musical past that dates back to the 1950s jazz scene.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Occasional special gigs also use other locations. But you&#8217;ll find full programme details at the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.viennabluesspring.org\/\">official website<\/a> once available.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Consider the festival an opportunity to enjoy the local blues scene in its most intense form, with a generous number of international musicians to round out the experience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"dates-and-tickets\">Dates, tickets &amp; tips<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The festival title hints at the traditional timing. The event runs from March 20th until the end of May in 2026.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For individual gigs, you can reserve and\/or purchase tickets from the venues or through the event website. Der Reigen sells festival passes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"how-to-get-to-der-reigen\">How to get to Der Reigen<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The main venue is in Vienna&#8217;s 14th district, away from the centre, but close to the tourist hotspot that is <a href=\"https:\/\/www.visitingvienna.com\/sightseeing\/palace-of-schonbrunn\/\">Sch\u00f6nbrunn Palace<\/a> (a place better known for music of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.visitingvienna.com\/entertainment\/schonbrunn-classical-concerts\/\" data-type=\"post\" data-id=\"5608\">classical kind<\/a>).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Find Der Reigen immediately opposite Hietzing station, which is a stop on the U4 subway line.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Catch the U4 from, for example, the Karlsplatz and Schwedenplatz stations in the centre of town.
